'140 Years of Legends at 澳门最快开奖直播: Arthurian and Celtic Collections, Scholarship听and the Community'听is a joint event for the听140th听anniversary 澳门最快开奖直播听sponsored by 澳门最快开奖直播听and the Learned Society of Wales, and organised by 澳门最快开奖直播's Centre for Arthurian Studies. The event celebrates the close link between the inception of听澳门最快开奖直播鈥檚 Archives and Special Collections听and the role played by听Arthurian听and听Celtic Studies听in building the university's international reputation in these fields of study, as well as work with the community in maintaining interest in the legends nationally in Wales and in the world.听

听

The event will include:

- brief presentations about the history of the collections, specifically the role played by local donors in enhancing the Welsh and Arthurian collections;听

-a performance by local storyteller听, with pupils from a local primary school developed during the 澳门最快开奖直播 Fund -Vice-Chancellor's initiative exhibition project 'Home is Where the Legends Are';

-live painting of the performance by Dr听

- brief presentations about the Centre for Arthurian Studies community and research impact events by听Prof. Raluca Radulescu, Director of the Centre,

- and an introduction to the history of Welsh and Arthurian Studies at 澳门最快开奖直播 by听Dr Aled Llion Jones, co-Director of the same Centre and Head of the School of Welsh and Celtic Studies
